Yearning to appreciate our teachers, and everyone is a teacher if we listen.
There is no adequate word in English for a child, grandchild or someone who has become beloved offspring to you, who has imprinted themselves into your heart. So I have used the word 'child' in this song, which is about all my children and grandchildren; my teachers in this life.
Recorded in 2021 in collaboration with talented piano player Dr Ulrich (Uili) Marquard, who lives in Germany. Danke Uli!
